Blending

For this tutorial, you will learn how to blend my way.

I will be using these two image of Anne Hathaway from here.

To start off...make an image sized 500x500.
Take both images of Anne Hathaway and go EDIT - COPY.
Paste both of them on the 500x500 image (EDIT - PASTE AS NEW LAYER).

It should look something like this, with both images overlapping each other by a bit.

Take your selection tool and set them to the settings below but with the feather set at 50.

Carefully outline your image THAT IS ON THE TOP of the other image.
You can zoom in if you want, but it's not required.
Make sure there is a decent amount of space between where you are cutting and Anne Hathaway.
Like this:

Once you have finished and it looked something like the image above, right click on your mouse.
There should be dotted lines around your blend.
On your keyboard press the DELETE button.

Match your settings to mine below for the selection tool.

Go LAYERS - MERGE ALL FLATTEN.
With your selection tool, select the part of the blend you want to keep. EXAMPLE:

Press CTRL + C on your keyboard (edit - copy).
Press CTRL + V (edit - paste as new image)

Add some borders if you want (IMAGE - ADD BORDERS...) and some text. You're all finished! Please credit behindherheart if this tutorial was used.
