Offset outline


I am going to start with an image sized 300x300, but you can start with any size you want.

01. To start, create a new raster layer and stamp a few brushes randomly like I have done below.


02. Now, copy that layer and create a new image.
Fill it with black. Go EDIT - PASTE AS NEW SELECTION.
It should now look like this (with a bunch of dotted lines):


03. Your next step is to now go, SELECTIONS - MODIFY - SELECT SELECTION BORDERS.
Match the settings to mine below:


04. Now, go EDIT - COPY.
Open up your first image. Go EDIT - PASTE AS NEW SELECTION and position the borders to your liking. Here is my result:
